We employ tour drivers, many join us after driving daily service buses in and around Edinburgh or from further afield, touring continental Europe, Morocco, Palma de Mallorca, Nottingham and other tour operators in Britain (Cambridge, Glasgow, Oxford, York, Stirling). One has just completed a degree in Astro Physics and is looking forward to studying for his Doctorate. Drivers from normal bus service work revel in the daily contact with customers when driving tour buses and find the job very satisfying and rewarding. They all enjoy the intimacy of working in a small team and love telling our customers all about Edinburgh.

Our Guides come to us from all walks of life –amongst our top team we have a planning officer, hospital radio DJ, a mechanical engineer, a solicitor, pastry chef, a Doctor of Philosophy, librarian, speed camera officer and a teacher of English as a foreign language in Toulouse, France. They love the city and enjoy sharing their extensive knowledge of Edinburgh with our passengers. They have a passion for Edinburgh and love to have and audience to share their knowledge of Edinburgh.
Our team of ticket sellers consists of a core group including a social worker, call centre operator, staff nurse, sandwich artist, bookmakers clerk, personnel manager, training manager, off shore oil worker and fabricator as well as seasonal staff who join us in the busier summer months.

The summer staff tend to be students and in the middle of various degree courses including Environmental Geography, Psychology, Mechatronics, Ecology, Art, Italian and Interior Design. Many come back year after year during their studies - returning to their summer 'family'. They are from all over the world to work and also experience Edinburgh’s fantastic history and beauty.
